How can we remove two followers from our blog?

We have a blog for our walking group. There are two people following our blog whose presence is deterring us from continuing with the blog. One of them is threatening to sue us if he continues to receive email notifications. We have told him twice how to unfollow the blog – and he is of course given that information at the bottom of each email notification. However, he insists on harassing us so that I have not updated the blog for six weeks because I do not have time for the harassment. The second individual has not made similar threats but is a friend of the first and we feel that he is following the blog as an aggressive act. Can we please do something to get rid of this unnecessary harassment?

The harassment is uncalled for. As you’ve already mentioned, a link to unsubscribe is given in each email that is sent so it’s their responsibility to unsubscribe if they don’t want to receive further emails.
And I’m afraid there’s no way to manually remove followers/subscribers. Public blogs are visible to all, but if you set your Site Visibility to private, no one will receive any email notifications.
Note that for private blogs, you will have to invite users who are allowed to view the blog.
It may also be possible that only invited users get email notifications, but that might require them to re-follow your blog.
