How can we retrieve my draft post and all earlier versions that have disappeared

  I worked many hours on a post. There were multiple versions saved as I went along and which showed at the bottom of the post page. I finalized the post this morning and when I saved the final draft, the program hung up. I waited and since it was clearly hung up I exited the window, knowing that the last small changes I had made might be lost but i would have the previous version to re-edit. When I brought up the program again, all traces of the post were no longer on my posts area.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry to hear that there were problems with one of your posts! What was the title of the post which you were working on?

  So you know, there have been some reports from other customers that if they’ve had two tabs open and working on two different articles, the autosave feature can get confused and can save the drafts for both in just one of the articles “Recent Drafts.” If you happened to be working on more than one article, you may want to check the drafts history in the other one to ensure that the first article isn’t stored there.

  Hi

  In this case I was only working on one article. The title was “How to Manage Women Tips #2 and #3.

  I had 3 images in it that are still in the media library.

  Hi

  I went back to look for any place that the versions might be saved and found the missing post. It had mysteriously been renamed with my account name “my greener company”.

  That is one strange gremlin that would do all that.
