How can we take our domain back? We need it in one week.
-
Hello! We cancelled our subscription recently but how can we take our domain back?
How long time will it be locked?
And what is the procedure of it`s transfer? WordPress just leave it on the market and we can buy it again from any domain-store? Or WordPress send us DNS settings needed etc?
P.S. It had been deleted from the list of domains and we cannot transfer it anymore like it is said in instruction (https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/)
What to do?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@soundkalpa this domain appears to be in redemption and has been returned to the registrar. We can reach out to the registrar to try to get it back, but it costs an extra $80 at this point, in addition to the renewal fees. We’ll send an invoice for that.
Please pay the invoice as soon as possible and update us here so we can take the next steps for getting the domain back. If we are unable to retrieve it, we’ll refund you. Please note too, the process takes about 2 business days, so we’ll want to get that taken care of as soon as possible.
The only other option is to wait for the domain expiration process to continue, but the domain would go up for auction in the meantime, so I’d recommend against waiting if you don’t want to risk losing the domain for good.

@soundkalpa I’ve got excellent news: the domain had not entered redemption yet, so we were able to avoid the $80 fee. I’m editing the invoice we sent and sending it once more for just the renewal fee.
You’ll still want to take care of that ASAP though to avoid any issues. Cheers :)

Okay, you’ve actually got a new invoice link for $26. Please take care of that right away and update us here. Thanks!

Yes, please pay for the domain’s renewal via the link you received via email. The domain is already back in your account, but if you don’t pay for it, it will be removed again.
