How can you add a search bar to the navigation?

Hi I have a lot of hidden content on my website that may be hard to find without keywords. Is it possible to add a search box to the navigation at the top? I know there is one on the right side but with my theme, it is hidden when you first go to my website :(

After you click a link the search bar shows up but it would be nice to have one when you first go there…

You can choose another theme that has the searchbar in the header area. The Themes Showcase is where to look and there are live demo links to the themes there.
