how can you count the downloads of an uploaded PDF

    This isn’t included in the stats section, I was just wondering if there was another way to find out how many times an uploaded PDF had been downloaded? You can see how many times a video has been viewed so I was wondering about download counts.

    Hi Tess!

    You should now be able to see the number of clicks you get on a PDF.

    You can see your improved stats here:

    https://wordpress.com/stats/day/tessyoung.wordpress.com

    Scroll down to Clicks. If anyone has clicked on your PDF, it’ll display there.

    If you’d like to test this out, you can send me a link to a post or page with a pdf link and I’ll click it for you. Otherwise, you can do it yourself if you are logged out of your WordPress.com account. Clicks to your own site aren’t counted if you’re logged in as the administrator.
