How can you find like minded bloggers on WordPress?

  On Blogspot I could find a whole listing of retired teachers and we could start a cyber “family” who visited each other and it grew from there. I’m not sure how to go about doing that on WordPress. I’ve tried writing to a bunch of “tags” but gotten very few returns. Is there a place to go and find ….say… bloggers from your home state? Bloggers of a certain profession? Etc.?

  Thanks so much for your help. One thing that WordPress really has an upper hand on is the tech support.

  We don’t really have any directories like that, but I strongly recommend stopping by to comment on blogs similar as your own, and you might build up a nice following through that.
