How can you move a wordpress.com blog to another user?

  Hi!

  I’ve got several wordpress.com blogs on one account. One of them is a blog I’m working on for a special project, and now I would like to change the user of this blog because someone else is going to take this project and the blog from my hands, but I do not want her to have access to my other blogs, which are linked to the same user.

  So, what I’d like to have is two separate users. One with which I can manage my first blogs and one with which I can manage this last specific blog, but with which you have no access to my other blogs. But without changing the blogs url or name.

  Is this possible? And if it is, how can I do it without losing data in the process?

  I had already found the option “transfer blog” at “My Blogs” in Dashboard but is this the option I need? When I look, wordpress gives me the warning that if I continue I will be deleted as ‘owner’/user of the blog until the new owner approves me, but how do you select who will be the new owner?

  They should not have access to any of your other blogs unless you add them to your other blogs. I am admin on some friends blogs and they don’t have access to any blog other than their own.

  I think you are on the correct path. When you transfer a blog to another account you give up all rights to the transferred blog and the new owners need to add you back if they want you to help them.
