How can you remove generic Maya Angelou quote text from Affinity theme?
-
Hi all,
Does everyone seriously leave the same quote on their page when using this theme? The layout is perfect for what I need (though not making an engagement announcement or anything) but I would really love to be able to replace the text at the top of the page as it doesn’t pertain to my subject. I don’t see any options in the Edit or Customize screens.
I’m new to WordPress so I might be missing it but it really seems oddly baked in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Every theme has a detailed theme description page like this one at https://wordpress.com/themes/affinity/ That’s where set up instructions for it are found. The live demo site is at https://affinitydemo.wordpress.com/
All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/

I just discovered the ability to remove the text under “Site Identity” in Customize. I came here so call off the dogs. Thanks so much for the reply though, timetheif!
I don’t think it really addresses it in the theme description, though. I read through all of it before posting here.
Thanks
