How can you report a wordpress blog?

  • Unknown's avatar

Most people don’t want someone else’s name and site on their header image. And it might confuse their visitors to whos site it is. Why don’t you offer your services of making and photoshopping headers, without your name on it, in exchange for a link back on blogrolls. And maybe a post saying who just made their new header. Link backs do help on Google too.

    The questions was:

How can you report a wordpress blog?
    The answer is:
In the case of copyright issues these two links apply
    http://wordpress.com/complaints/

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice (retired)

I know but it’s better to offer an alternative solution than to have all these penguins arguing and fighting.

    @mymyspacelayouts
We volunteers are supposed to reply to the questions only. We are not expected to negotiate or babysit one’s children on this forum. In fact COPPA regulations state that one has to be 13 years of age to have a blog. So from here on out I will not be responding to these underage bloggers, whose parents seem to be unaware of their children’s issues and/or unable or unwilling to parent them.

For the longest time since I’ve known you on the forum you have never liked children. You even posted links to Chica so she could leave the forum and find a forum suitable for her age.

And from briefly skimming through that COPPA link, WordPress has never been primarily directed towards children and the only personal information WordPress collects from anyone is their email address unless they purchase upgrades which you need a credit card for.

And you will continue to reply back to underage bloggers because you’ve said before you wouldn’t but still do because it’s your way of feeling better than others.

And you don’t know their home lives or how they are being parented. At least they are inside and not out drinking, doing drugs, and having sex like most their age are doing.

And stop answering a question with a question and telling penguins what to do or telling volunteers like me and others what to do or how to reply to threads.

You obviously don’t have children. Try explaining copyright to a possible kid. While you do nothing but start trouble here, I’m trying to offer an alternative.

For the purposes of this thread, the actual answer

Top right of the screen, in the blue bar, it says Blog Info
    Click it
    Click “Report as Spam”
    Fill in details.
    Click to send.

    That’s it.

The /complaints address is not for copyright.
The /dmca address is for copyright but it is complex and should not be used lightly.

In all such cases, contact me and I will act as mediator. I have done for many blogs. It works.

This thread links there, and that link comes back here.
    That’s circular.
