How can you stop google from duplicating content when sharing?
-
Sharing posts to google+ results in the content being repeated twice in the same google+ post. I think it’s because my posts have no title. Is there any way to fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve never heard of that issue. Are you using Publicize? If so, and you are also manually sharing the posts, disconnect it. Can you give us a public link to a post on G+ where this is happening?

Actually, this happens to Matt Mullenweg, even:
https://plus.google.com/116394575739281318169/posts/ds858Sqpc1iMy guess is that it has to do with how WordPress handles posts without titles— it generates a title from the first bit of text in the body. Publicize probably isn’t checking for that, so it’s sending the Title and the Body (even though they are identical in a post with no “real to humans” title).
This might be something that needs to be fixed in either Core or Publicize in order to stop…
Or maybe there’s a setting we’re all missing. :)

Hi there,
I seem to recall that this may be a function of how we are being required to work with Google+’s API, but I don’t want to give you incorrect information. I am verifying that for sure though, so sit tight and as soon as I have confirmation that this is either a bug or how we’re required to work with Google I will let you know!
