how can I put a category or tag to my new blog? How can I introduce my blog to others? I find it hard for my blog to be found by others

Flyingdagge: While there are many topics on this, the simple is answer is to enter a category name under Categories in the Write Post panel on the left side of your screen.
As for your blog being hard to find, being found is different from tags or categories. Only those using Technorati or WordPress Tags to look for your blog will care if you have tags or categories. The rest will find you through word of mouth and search engines.
Being found is a matter of using the keywords people are searching for within your post content. You have to write about what people are searching for and use the words more than once in each article. It’s also a matter of telling people, on forums, in emails, and in person, about your blog.
And it’s a matter of patience. It takes time, sometimes hours, sometimes months, to get “found”. But you have to have something worth finding. ;-)

@flyingdagger – There is a problem with some blogs being inable to add categories. It’s something we are looking into right now. Sorry!

To put a new category simple go to your admin section find manage->categories menu. This will allow to add new categories.
