  How do I change my website description ( metatags??) that comes up on Google search suggestions? It seems to be the intial description that I used to begin my website construction with WordPress

  Hi,

  What’s the website address, and where did you include the initial description that you refer to? If you put a site description in a welcome page, a tagline, or somewhere else, and then removed or changed that description, then it will take Google a while to pick up on the change.

  MUSICDOC1 : Thanks! Whats strange is that site is not even published yet, and was a vague description in WebBuilder to help direct auto website build. New to this…

  Hi @mainlandad7

  Your site mycobc.wordpress.com appears to be a new one (about 24 hours since it was created) so it would be too early for Google to have had the opportunity to index it since it takes the 4-6 weeks to catch a new site.

  Is it the case that you are referring to a WordPress site you have with another hosting provider instead? In that case we would not be able to help because we only have access to sites hosted directly on WordPress.com and not through other providers.
