how come i can see an invitee on my user list, but she is not getting an email?

  I have sent (and deleted and resent) an invitation to a WordPress.com user to be a contributor on my blog. It seems she is not getting the email from me. She even brought her computer to my house and showed me her inbox and her junk mail. She got the first email (to set up a username), but she never got another email to be a contributor.

  Is there a workaround or a manual override?

  I want pbruvry to become a contributor on patriciabruvry.wordpress.com

  We figured out a work around. I added myself at another email address as a 2nd user/admin. As that admin, I was able to invite her to become a contributor to the site. Once she was able to get those emails, she followed the links and became a contributor. I then upgraded her to admin.

  Problem resolved.

  She got the first email (to set up a username), but she never got another email to be a contributor.

  In addition setting up a WordPress.com username, that email should also include the Accept Invitation link.
