How come I can't edit text on my iPad?

  Was trying to update text in one of my posts and couldn’t edit it. Wasn’t sure if this was because of my internet connection, but I just couldn’t delete and type new text properly. Had to break out my laptop and make the changes, which was annoying since this is why I have the iPad…so I won’t need to use the laptop as much.
