How come my front page looks different the past few days?

  My front page is not displaying properly. It is suddenly full width and does not show my latest published posts at the top. This happened a few days ago when I published my last post (which does not show on top of my front page). I don’t know why it happened and I have asked a wordpress-knowledgeable person at my work who was unable to help me. when I click on a post, then it show properly with everything nice and even on the side and the post in the middle. but when I enter my blog’s address the front page looks weird.

  I would greatly appreciate any help I could get in order to resolve this. As mentioned, the change happened a few days ago when I posted “Det handler om prioriteringer” which is not showing on the front page at all and is not displayed correctly when I click on it either.
