How come the text and photos do not appear how I placed them?

what I set up on my page does not appear how it should be. Example I put a photo, then the text right under but when it is posted or on the preview page it appears way off, exageratingly off. First time I have such a problem.

What image, exactly, are you having a problem with? Can you send a link to that direct page? What browser, version, and operating system are you using? I can’t currently see anything wrong with what I’m looking at.

They are used to achieve wrapping text around images on either the right or left hand side, or to display an image that’s centered without text on either side of it.
Align-left means position left, with the rest of the content wrapping around the right side of the image.
Align-right means position right, with the rest of the content wrapping around the left side of the image.
Align-center means position center, with no wrap-around (= the rest of the content below the image).
If the text beside the images does not occupy the same amount of space that the image beside it does then the text wrapping will continue and the images and text that follow will have a staggered appearance.
To prevent the staggered effect what you do is insert the following snippet of code into the Text (HTML) editor after each image/text pair:

Hello Emily,
It is the image with the blue squiggly mosaic. Abract piece…the distance is so far off the text and when I go to the edit mode it is super close…plus to be able to have the text under the photo when I go to edit I have to put it next to the photo, but on the page it then appears correctly under the photo. Sooo strange all that, I never ever had such a strange problem as this and I have done over 80 blogs with tons of photos. Tell me do I have to upgrade for it to work properly? if so I understand.
dear time thief, yes I know about the alignement of text…and I know that to align photo you do it when you insert photo it ask already if I want it center, left or right….ouff am fearing getting into code, yikes! Thanks for taking the time….
