How come when I go to my blog and see the posts and click ‘continue reading’ it only shows the title of the post?

Also when I go to ‘posts’ and then ‘published’ it shows no post?

This is very odd. It seems like the list of your posts will not load in WordPress.com, although you can access it from WP-admin.
Did the posts stop appearing suddenly? Have you made any changes to your site just before it happened?

Well, basically I was editing one of my older posts when my computer started acting weird so I shut it off.
Then, I thought it was just my computer since it’s rather old but I tried to access it from various other devices but it wouldn’t work.

I have exactly the same problem, and it happened to me yesterday, too!
I’m very worried that I have just lost everything on my blog….
Here is the link so you can see the problem.I was editing one of my posts yesterday night and I was having a lot of trouble with the interface, it kept lagging and having bugs. Eventually I was not able to publish the new version of my article anymore. Now, when I load my blog and I click on my articles, most of them just show the title, but no content. I tried using another browser and my cellphone, same problem. When I go in the “Articles” section of my admin panel, the small number next to “Published” says I have 5 articles, but none of them show up. It says that there are no articles. Everything was perfectly fine just yesterday.

Wait, I can access it from WP-admin?
I see the post list but when I click ‘edit’ it still won’t load it even on WP-admin.

hirammeans – Can you take a screen shot of what you’re seeing on WP-Admin? That image can get uploaded to your media library and I’ll be able to take a look. I want to see if we are viewing the same thing on the page before we dive in deeper.

There are two pictures one of just my dashboard and the other shows what happens when I push ‘edit’ on the post. They are on my media library, now.

Thank you, I can see your screenshots. You mentioned you have an older computer, and this is a bit of a concern for us, as the WordPress.com “block editor” uses newer technologies that may not work well on your older device. Can you visit this page and let us know what you see for “Operating System” and “Web Browser”?
This will give us some extra troubleshooting info about your computer. Also do you have the option to try accessing your site on a newer computer, or mobile device like your smartphone or tablet? I’m curious if you have this issue only on your primary computer, or if this is an issue you have on other computers/devices as well.

My previous message seems to have been ignored. hirammeans and I are having the same issue, and I do not own an older computer. Running on Windows 10 and Chrome 87.0.4280.141 (I’ve already tried accessing the admin pannel from a different browser, same problem).
I have tried editing my website on the WordPress app on a smartphone. It works just as usual. I can see the 5 posts, edit them and publish them. I’ve tried editing and re-publishing one of them from the app, but no luck. The content still does not show up on the blog, with all devices.

I’m also adding that I see the same thing as hirammeans on WP-Admin – posts are all there, but when I click to edit, the page doesn’t load.
On the app, the content all posts is intact (phew!). Meaning that it’s not lost, just not loading.

Operating system is Windows 10.
Web Browser is Google Chrome.
Also, I have tried looking at my account on another really new PC and a computer and I still have the same issues.

Chrome 87.0.4280.141 for the record.
My computer is really probably only four years old which in my family is considered pretty old (for a computer) but I realize it might not be to some of you.

Hi there,
Can you please use a different browser? Preferably one that’s not Chromium-based, like Firefox.
This might be something related to the latest version of Chrome and I want more information so that I can report it to our developers.

I can confirm that as a visitor to https://lescarnets.home.blog using FF 84.0.2 (64-bit) clicking on any post title or continue reading link on the homepage brings me to the single post where only the post title is visible.
Again as a visitor on https://backyardhobbyfarm.home.blog/blog-feed/ only the first post title is visible and clicking it brings me to the single post view of only the post title.
