How could my WordPress site and admin access disappear without any notification to me?

  My site is taken down and there was no notification at all that there was an issue?

  Thank you!! I am quite alarmed. The url is http://www.chartwellriskadvisors.com
  Here is the url I was given originally for the site and WP admin:

  Website URL : http://35.165.74.32/
  Admin URL: http://35.165.74.32/wp-admin

  In March I set up a gravatar and it took me to the WordPress site and I logged in using the same email as my site used – I can’t imagine that overwrote anything.

  I really need to recover the site quickly and not sure what to do.

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  In this case, I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider, who appears to be https://www.networksolutions.com/contact/index.jsp

  Thanks but I own the domain through Network Solutions but they did not host.

  Are you saying that my domain was through WordPress.org??

  I spent an hour on the phone with AWS and they cannot find record of hosting, which makes no sense because that is how it was set up.

  The site was using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. But it wasn’t “through” WordPress.org, as WordPress.org is not a hosting provider.

  Based on historic DNS info I can find for your domain, your hosting provider since at least February 2017 has been Amazon:

  https://securitytrails.com/domain/chartwellriskadvisors.com/history/a

  Thank you! I have called AWS twice and they say they can’t find any records so pretty frustrated. I will show them this information.

  Any other suggestions?

  Hi there,

  I dug a bit deeper and it looks like your hosting provider was Network Solutions. You can try contacting them.
