    How did I get link urls for image widgets to open in a new target window?
    I have four image widgets inserted into the footer widget for ciinvertkey.com, each with a link url attached to them. But would prefer to have these open in blank target new window – can you assist? I am not confident with CSS editing.

    Hi,

    With items for which you’re creating your own links, you can add the following to the link to open in a new window:

    target="_blank"

    for example:

    <a href="http://ciinvertkey.com/" target="_blank">My link text</a>

    This isn’t an option in the Image widget, but you could use a Text widget instead for the same purpose. For this, you’d use an HTML link like this inside the Text widget:

    <a href="http://www.eosecology.co.nz"><img src="https://campbellinvertebrates.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/sidebar_graphic_250x500px.jpg" target="_blank" ></a>
