How did I lose 80% of my followers in an instant?

  I had almost 200 followers then instantly I went down to 18. What happened?

  Hi there,

  Social media followers are included in your follower count. If you had a social media profile connected through Publicize then removed it, the followers from that account would no longer be associated with your blog. Does that make sense? You can read a bit more about this here:
