How did my views shoot up quickly?

  My normal daily views were reached as I slept, when normally I would have only half that amount by sunrise. Looking at blog stats, I can’t figure out where the sudden jump came from. Has this happened to you? Do you know how it happens? Thanks

  If you go to your stats page, you can’t copy/paste the graph here but you can copy/paste Referrers and Search Engine Terms and if you do that maybe we can help you figure it out.

  I always say a stats puzzle is when they go up. A stats PROBLEM is when the go down.

  tudobeleza, I seen hothing unusual in your stats. The jump in views on November 11th is only marginally higher than other recent peaks in your page views.

  Referrers count the visitors who come to your blog from somewhere else. They don’t account for visitors who stay and click around for a while.

  ah, that would make sense. I was looking at referrers and top posts for the day. I didn’t think about those who stick around, clicking away. Thanks (everyone)

  I report back tomorrow morning if they’ve jumped again…or in the case I find a suitcase.
