how do add html to imbed a localender calendar? I need to add this particular code to my site but I don’t think it is approved. Nothing happens when I put it in the box.
<SCRIPT src=”https://www.localendar.com/public/nolacommonknowledge?include=Y&dynamic=Y&style=M0″></SCRIPT>
I just want to make a website with a calendar. It doesn’t seem like that should be so difficult. I HATE HATE HATE google calendar and can’t find anything on wordpress what works with a wordpress.com site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but the bottom line is that any blogger posted JavaScript will be stripped out by the software here for security reasons. WordPress.COM blogs are not freestanding. They are all on this same multiuser blogging platform, and share a common architecture, and that means one incidence of bad code could bring down many blogs.

You can make a specific WordPress plugin request by posting to the Ideas Forum. Here’s the link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas#postform

Yeah I saw that first page.
Is that java? I thought it was html. I didn’t make it.I thought you can’t use add-ons with wordpress.com only wordpress.org.

You cannot post that calendar on a WordPress.COM blog – period. If having that calendar is a deal breaker for you, (though I find that to be unbelievable), then you can hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.ORG install.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Yes, indeed I am aware of that. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

Thanks for trying to help. I appreciate it.
The entire point of our website it to have a calendar so it is definitely a deal breaker.
I don’t care if it’s localender or not but that seemed like the simpliest.
Is there ANY way to have ANY kind of calendar with a wordpress.com site? If not we’re gonna have to go to something else.
