How do edit the sidebar background?

  Hi guys,

  I am using a premium WordPress theme and I was hoping there might be a way to edit the colour of the sidebar background? (Or put Ina. Coloured background for the sidebar).

  I haven’t played with css in almost ten years, and I feel like a beginner all over again.

  I’m also working from an iPad attached to a keyboard, so I’m having trouble viewing the page source.

  Hi @mechanicalanimalsedition,

  To change your sidebar colour via CSS, you can try:

  #secondary, #tertiary {
      background-color: chocolate;
  }

  If you would like to change you widget background, you can do so by entering this code into you Custom CSS:

  .widget {
      background-color: #COLOR;
  }

  Please check all the pages & blog post on every device to confirm it is not impacting anything else.

  You can enter your own color, I just put “chocolate” in as a tester :)
