Why do I get this message when I`m trying to download photoes to my blogg? Sorry, you have used your upload quota ????

In your dashboard, go to media > library and near the top below the page title will be a couple lines of text, and the first bit of that tells you how much of your free 3GB of storage space you have used. If that says you’ve used all your space, then you either have to delete some of the media stuff, or purchase a space upgrade.

You have wasted your storage space by uploading huge, high-resolution, files: the ones I checked are 3.2MB each, 4288px wide – while the WP slideshow on the theme you’re using displays them at a maximum width of 495px. Ideally you should use an image editing application or an online tool to downsize the images before uploading them to your blog.
