How do I access my site as an author?

Hi all. My administrator send me an invitation to be a co-author on a new site, which I accepted. However, I cannot find what the procedure is to get into the site to be able to edit stuff etc. Can anyone help please?
Spent ages looking, without success…

Hey @horacem,
Don’t Worry:); You need to check your website is hosted on WordPress.com or not, if yes then you can access your site using https://WordPress.com/login/, and you can select your site from “My sites” in the dashboard.
If your site is using self-hosted version of WordPress, then you can access your account by adding /wp-admin/ at the last of your website URL. (e.g.; http://example.com/wp-admin/ ) .
If you are confused in finding the host, then share your site URL here, and I can check it for you :)

Thanks for the encouraging words. As you can probably tell I am a complete novice at this so need as much help as you can offer.
Our site is here: (I think)
https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/81453043 – It should take you to
” Sywell Airgun Sports Club”Our site’s author wants me to have the edit facility and sent me an invitation to be an author. I accepted this and then went into our site, expecting to see either a “logon” or an “edit” button, but no! The site opened as normal with me just being able to see the content without being able to edit anything.
I have tried adding the “/wp-admin/” to the above address without success, although the WordPress site itself did light up.
I’m sure it’s only a click away to get where I need to be but which click????
Hope you can help with this please.

Wow, the second link took me to a login screen and after doing so I was able to navigate to a page and enter text, so I think that is the answer I have been searching for, so Many Thanks to you for that.
