how do I access the direct email support which comes with my premium bundle?
-
I cannot find how to send my email question to the “direct email support” described in our Premium bundle. I do not wish to discuss it in the forum and this is part of why we paid for the Premium bundle. I am not happy that I have to enter my url to even post this question!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Nearly a month and nobody has answered my question; I suppose I used the wrong tone? Sorry about that, I just wish to know how to access this service our not-for-profit paid for. I’d appreciate if anyone can help.

http://ecocaledon.org/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform. The support link is http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

OOPS! I was wrong. It is being hosted by WordPress.com. Sorry. :(
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -
Email support is at this link but note that you must remove the spaces I have to use to make it appear in this forum thread

Great, thanks! I have already subscribed. Much appreciate you tagging this for me…..and your quick response.

For some reason that just takes me back to “the community”. Not that you aren’t great, but we do need the privacy of email in this case. I wonder if it is because I have other free .com sites, because they don’t ask which site I am inquiring about, so I can see that would be an issue. Another problem might be that I was not the person who paid for/processed the upgrade?

Well yeah that would be the problem for sure.
-
…but I do have an admin account, I’m just not the person who can pay for things. So any questions will have to come from that person’s account?
Thanks for resolving this.
-
it’s still flagged for staff. Surely any Admin of a paid blog should be able to access the live support. There should be a chatbox too, if you have the $299 upgrade bundle.
-
Well, yes that’s the case. Only the person who paid for the upgrade is in a position to do anything at all regarding the upgrade.
-
@raincoaster
The Premium upgrade does not have live chat.
Only the Business bundle upgrade has live chat.

It’s just the $99 bundle, but I agree any admin should have access. After all, in a voluntary organization people come and go but the website remains – one of the great attractions of WordPress.com. Perhaps I am missing something. I will await the staff response.
Thanks. -
Well, the email support takes literally WEEKS if not days to provide an answer, whereas the forum can answer questions faster.
-
Oh. Well I guess it’s a good thing that wasn’t the only reason we paid for the bundle then. I’ll use this forum whenever I can. Thanks.

It was to do with switching over from our previous site to this one. We muddled through but I would like to know how I can access the email support in case we would ever like to ask something confidential again.
-
Okay thanks for the clarity. We don’t need a modlook tag for Staff on this thread so I’ll remove it.

tt, just fyi, all the support emails have been coded so that they aren’t redacted when posting them in the forums, so support@wordpress.com and hopefully that wasn’t redacted. :)
