How do i activate business plan trial?

Hi,
I am designing a wordpress wesbite for a client, and am trying to persuade them to go for the business package, is there a way I can trial this package for a short period of time before them having to buy it?

The WordPress.com Business Bundle has a free 14-day trial, but you will need to give your credit card details when signing up. https://store.wordpress.com/plans/ where you can see what features are available with WPcom Business and then click “learn more” for more detailed info.

I think the gimmick 14 day free trial has been discontinued, – but all upgrades except domain name registration have a 30 day no questions ask refund policy if you want to buy the upgrade then cancel after 14 days or whatever before the 30 day refund period is done (cancel a few days early, it you have a domain name that seems to take staff help do deal with) – so leave a bit of a buffer

Thanks timetheif. I did search on the forums (That reply is mostly copy paste from a Happiness Engineer’s post). However, the post I was looking at probably an old one (something for the team to work on I guess!)

Yes, it is a copy and paste from a Staff comment in a support thread. Before answering threads I do tag searches, support doc searches, and I also do Google searches, so I can locate and quote what Staff have said in other directly related threads. That’s what all of us Volunteers do. :)

Note that duckduckgo is a good search engine too and it does not track you. Example: free trials discontinued site:en.forums.wordpress.com

I have something else to say. I have a blogging tips blog on its own domain and I have a No-Ads upgrade on it. I do not benefit financially from traffic to my posts there, and you will find that there are many of my posts linked to here in support forum threads.
