how do I activate ‘Prevent third-party sharing’ feature?
I do not want WordPress ‘monetizing its user base’. I particularly don’t want that on a service I pay for.

Apparently it’s actually a section of the General settings. You check a box, and click Save Settings in that section, and you must repeat this for every one of your sites.
I’m so incredibly saddened to see WordPress/Automattic step away from their past commitment to ethics and the open web with the decision to “opt out” instead of “opt in” on providing user content to AI companies. It’s a betrayal and it is devastating.
