How do I activate the 'Personal' plan I bought last month.

I have a prior account blog. (Free). But I changed my domain name in google. I tried setting up my blog (old one – Wolves Of Idaho.Org Changing name to new domain which is Wolves Belong. But I don’t think it worked as when I try to add a theme, I am asked to sign up for premium account, or it kicks me to a subscribing page. Should have not chosen the ‘personal’ plan? I bad received a email telling me to change DNS records, but I just switched my domain as explained above and there was a couple glitches there. I am a novice here. I am learning as I go. My account with you (personal) as I thought since I am a wildlife (wolves) advocate and a writer I want to combine both. While educating the public about wolves, I also use a subsection to post ‘Wolves, Wilderness andWriting Wrongs’ as a second page. Is that why I can’t get my site to work .

Hello there, I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff assistance, as they can see behind the scenes what upgrades you have if any.
Regardless, once you’ve paid for an upgrade, they are immediately applied to your site. If you successfully upgraded to Personal plan, your support thread would have gone directly to Support rather than being routed to our community forums as it did. So there is a possibility it did not succeed. You can see if you have any upgrades under your billing history page at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
wolvesofidaho.org is currently being used on Blogger. If you own that domain and wish to use it on your site at wolvesofidaho1.wordpress.com you do need to upgrade to at least the Personal plan in order to map the domain here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ Mapping is included in all upgrade plans.
The Personal plan does not include either Premium themes or the ability to upload your own theme. If you wish to purchase a Premium theme in addition to the Personal plan, that is an option. Another option is to upgrade to the Premium plan which allows you to use any of our Premium themes. If you have a specific theme that you want to use that is not found in our Themes Showcase https://wordpress.com/themes/ you would need to upgrade to the Business plan in order to do so.
Hope that information helps while we are waiting for Staff to get to this thread.
