how do i add a a slider to blog?

  Hi There ,

  I am unable to add Slider to my blog ! Kindly help me with the same . My WordPress Theme i.e ‘ Twenty fourteen ‘ meanwhile supports Slider plugin .

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Unfortunately you can’t add a plugin on wordpress.com.
  If you want to do so you must go on wordpress.org.

  So do you mean i need to download a theme from wordpress.org and then add a plugin from the same ?! I am confused .

  For more information on how to set your slider feature, please read the theme documents

  You will need to set feature tags on the photos/posts you want to add to the slider.

  “The home page features your choice of up to six posts that are prominently displayed in a grid or a slider, and controlled by the “featured” post tag. You can change the tag and the layout in Appearance → Customize. Use this “Featured Content” area to make sure your best articles get noticed.”

  The only themes you can use on WordPress.COM sites are found in the directory:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/

  Plug-ins are not possible with WordPress.COM sites, and no upgrade will change that. Some plug-in functions are built in, and can be found here:
