How do I add a background image to my blog?

  Is CSS experience or CSS upgrade-thing-ah-mah-jig needed to add a image to the background of our blog?
  F.Y.I
  I have nada, zilch, nothing, Zippo, none of CSS experiences what so ever

  Yes. And if you don’t already know how to use CSS, don’t buy the upgrade until you have learned.

  There are several of the newer themes that have been introduced lately that allow you to change or add a new background image. Go to appearance > themes in your dashboard and use the feature filter (link to right of search box) and then click “custom background” and you can see which allow you to use a custom background without CSS.
