how do I add a blog linked to my website to wordpress

I have set up a blog on my website, duckspoon.com, and so that blog is duckspoon.com/wordpress, but I want to be able to cruise through other wordpress blogs and make comments from my site’s blog.
I tried to add another blog to my wordpress account, but the system does not seem to allow that. ?? -

You cannot add it here. WordPress.COM is stand-alone and you cannot add/link self-hosted blogs to it. All the benefits of wordpress.COM are only for blogs that are hosted here.
