How do I add a button to my sidebar?

How do i put a button on the sidebar? For example, I would like to link to my Teachers Pay Teachers store or create a “share” button with an image i created.

If you’d like to add a button that links to an outside website, you can create your own widget. Here are the instructions:

Could you explain further how you’d like the share button to function? Did you want to make an image in the sidebar available for download? If so, you can utilize the image widget and folks can copy/paste the image URL onto their own site:
