I wish to add a category to the menu bar. But when I finally succeeded, one of the other categories was dropped.

Hey there, Edward!
I see several Categories in your two custom menus. Could you tell me what isn’t working properly, precisely?
I can help further if I know your goal.
Thanks so much!

First of all, I only want one menu.
Second, the categories I want on the menu are Home, Opinion, Humor, Personal, and Daily Rant. I would liked to add categories later, too.
I’ve been to the appearance>menus page, but no amount of fiddling with it seems to work. I guess I created another menu in my efforts to figure it out.

Thank you so much for that information!
It looks like you almost have it here:
https://ifyouaskmedotme.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.phpYou can add a home link by creating a custom link, using your site’s URL. Those instructions are here:
Additionally, while you’ve added Opinion, Humor, Personal, and Daily Rant to the menu, you haven’t added the menu to your site.
To do this, take a look at this image of your current settings:
https://cloudup.com/c5GtgWhwcpWRemove the check in the box for “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu.” Then, select the box for “Primary Navigation (Currently set to: Opinion).”
Then, save your changes. That will add the 5-item menu to your site.
Let me know how that works out for you. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.
