How do I add a contact form

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

When I changed the theme on my site the contact form where there was the name, email, and comment disappeared… I would like to have it on my site. How can I add it?

Thank you to anyone who can help me!

Hi there, when a user submits a Contact Form on your site, that communication is sent to you directly by email to the email address you used to register your site here on WordPressdotcom and will also appear in your MY SITES dashboard at https://wordpress.com/types/feedback/ Any feedback will not appear on the public facing side of your site.

If you want to add a contact form to your Contact page, open the Contact page for editing and in the Classic Editor at the top you’ll see a circle with a plus sign in it. When you click on it one of the available options is “contact form” The default contact form will include name, email address, website and comment box. If you want to edit those options, you can find more information in our support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/forms/contact-form/

Let us know how that goes.

Also if you have any kind of upgrade plan here on WordPressdotcom, like Personal, Premium or Business, you are eligible for direct support via LiveChat and email when you post to https://wordpress.com/help/contact or click on the big blue question mark in your MY SITES dashboard.
