How do I add a crowdfunding widget to my sidebr?

I’m trying to add a crowdfunding widget to my sidebar but can’t figure out how. I have a shortcode and an html code for an embedded image and link but don’t know how to make it show up.

The embed code you’re trying to use might be blocked by WordPress.com as explained here:
The best solution would be to use the Image Widget instead as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
That way, you could embed an image on your sidebar and have it direct to an external URL. Would that work for what you’re looking for?
