How do I add a date to my post?

    Hi,
    I’m new to WordPress. A couple of days back I created a new blog (www.ephemeralreviews.wordpress.com). It’s a blog where I post short reviews about movies. Before this blog I used to update these reviews on Facebook. Now here’s the issue I’m facing. I need to change the publishing date of the review on the blog. For eg if I reviewed an old movie (let’s say on 1st June) because it released back then, I need the same date of publishing as well. Instead it’s showing me today’s date. This way I am unable to manage my posts as viewers would like to see the latest movie’s review on top & then older movies at the bottom. How do I do this? Due to this I am not able to add old reviews as they come on top.

    Hello,
    To backdate a new post using the classic editor, look in the Publish section at the right and click “Edit” next to “Publish immediately”. Change the date, then click the OK button. Click the Publish button when you’re ready to post.

    To backdate a new post using the new editor (Beep beep boop), click Change Status on the left side. Edit the date. Click Schedule when you’re ready to post.

    To edit your current posts go to My Sites > Blog Posts. Mouseover the post you want to edit and click Quick Edit. Change the date, then click the Update button.
