How do I add a disclaimer at the bottom of my blog?

How can I add a disclaimer at the bottom of by blog that says something along the lines of “All words and images belong to me, unless otherwise stated. Please be kind and link back.” to try and protect myself from plagiarizers and the like?

Changing the footer text is not allowed, but it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Custom Design upgrade.
