How do I add a Facebook Like button on my blog?

Hello, my site is http://rocksbyemmanuelle.wordpress.com/. How can a Facebook Like button on it? I read a few posts about it, but they did not seem to work. Thanks. Emma

If you want a Like button which shows updated info right in a blog post, there will only be disappointment. Because the code (which is i frame) will be stripped by wordpress.com.

One easy way to add a Face Book like button for individual posts is to
1) go to http://getsociallive.com/ and copy paste the link
2) Select the Face book like button
3) Copy paste the code back into your websites htmlYou can also use this code and post it to your sidebar.

Just copy and paste this code in your side bar using a text widget. I have modified it for your site.

did facebook not pay wordpress enough money?
seriously, I have spent hours trying to get this on my blog and only to be told “its not going to work, because you use the free hosting”i have seen it on other peoples blogs…but apparently they ALL have there own server and pay for hosting, since that is the only way I can see it working correctly.
