How do I add a favicon?

  I see that some wordpress.com blogs have a favicon next to their address that’s not the classic wordpress logo. Can I also do that?

  Go to settings > general and it is called a “blog picture.” You can add it there. It may take up to 24 hours for it to show up on your blog. When checking, clear your browser cache first before looking as most browsers will cache the favicons and not actually update them until the cache is cleared.
