How do I add a Feedly Button to my blog?
-
I want to add a feedly button to my blog. How do I incorporate it into the theme? When I look at widgets, my only choice is to use menus, which I have never understood at all. Help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Just follow the instructions for WordPress.com sites on this page: http://feedly.com/factory.html. Your RSS posts (feed) URL is https://beyondrivalry.wordpress.com/feed/.
When I look at widgets, my only choice is to use menus…
I don’t know what you mean by that. Just insert the HTML code generated on the Feedly button creator page into a text widget.

You presently have a Facebook widget of some kind, a Follow Blog Button widget, and an RSS Feed widget, none of which are menus. The text widget can be placed among them.

Thanks. Someone from WP, via chat, helped me with this yesterday. I was confused and now realise this can be done using a text widget, not a menu, but that wasn’t clear to me without help. I also had trouble using the Feedly instructions — rss feed was not coming up using their instructions, and then when I got that sorted, I didn’t realise I had to delete the http:// before entering it in step 3 — but the chat support helped me with that, too. Whew. Appreciate your responses and time.

Hi,
You’re welcome. Glad you got it sorted out.
I didn’t realise I had to delete the http:// before entering it in step 3 — but the chat support helped me with that, too. Whew. Appreciate your responses and time.
That’s odd. The full feed URL https://beyondrivalry.wordpress.com/feed/ entered at step 2 (not step 3 which is the code generated by feedly) should have worked.. I created a button on my own site using the same three steps.
