  how do I add a footer to my blog?

  You are not allowed to remove any footer credit links. It’s a Terms of Service violation to do so. You cannot add anything to the footer of your blog without purchasing the annually renewable custom design upgrade and doing the required CSS editing.

  thanks timethief. i didn’t want to remove the footer credit links, i just wanted to add my contact information in a footer. i figured out how to do that with the widgets.
