How do I add a header to only my home page, and not to all of my pages?

Hi, I am playing around with my header and once I finally found an appropriate one, I noticed that the header is added to all of my pages. This wouldn’t be a problem but my header is designs to be big for the home page only, not the rest of the pages.

Am I able to make the header for one page only?

If it is useful, my home page is a regular link page, while my other pages are either category pages, or just pages.

    Hey there!

You theme is one that won’t allow you to customize that image on each page. In fact, because a header image will appear on each page of your site, your theme recommends a header size of 960 × 250 pixels.

There are several other themes where you can have just a front page header, or a different header on each page.

Take a look at your options here:

I do think your current theme suits your site so nicely, so you may simply want to make an adjustment to the image size so it looks great on all your pages.

Or, some of the following themes might give you the aesthetic options you want:

There are others, of course, but should get you rolling….

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
