How do I add a link to comments?

    I am starting up a new blog and I found the perfect template, only problem is there is no way to link to the comments section from the home page. I already tweaked the code a bit so that the home page listed entire posts instead of just excerpts, but I can not figure out how to change the text that says how many comments there are, to a link so readers can just click on it, go directly to the comment submit form, and leave a comment. Any help would be appreciated!
