How Do I add a link to my forum next to Front Page & before About?
-
I would like to add a link to my forum http://sonyreader.proboards.com/ and call it Forum, right between the Front Page link and About. I also like to change the link name from Front Page to Home.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You could either:
A. Make a landing page, so that when someone hit’s the forums page, it takes them to a little page with some text, and a link to said forum.B. (I don’t know if this will work in wp.com) Make a ‘Forums’ page, which contains a script to forward the person to your forums.
As for changing the name of the page, you may be able to find some feature to do that in settings, or it might be an intrinsic part of your theme.

I created a new page call Forum and it did add a link call Forum next to About but it’s not taking me to my forum. My blog is http://sonyreaderforum.com/

You can have a “Forum” tab that links directly to your forum – see here:
See here how to change the order of the header tabs:
The “Front Page” link is built into the theme you’re using – you can’t change it. If you don’t like it, you can switch to another theme.

Also, you might be able to get the CSS upgrade and change the name to Home (right?), but that will depend on how well the theme is written.

Oh, speaking of which, I know why the link wasn’t working. You put the HTML code in the wrong tab. In the page where you edit your Forums page, switch the tab to HTML, and insert your code into there.
