How do I add a new administrator to my account?

  I invited a member of the association to be an administrator but he does not show up on the user list and does not have any sites when he logs in.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. Did you invite him under Users ->Invite New in the dashboard? And did he click on the confirmation link in the invitation email while also logged in to WordPress.com? The only reason I can think why he wouldn’t appear in your All Users list is if he hasn’t yet accepted the invitation, so please make sure of that.

  Read this info, please:

  An Administrator has full power over the site and can do absolutely everything. Administrators can create more Administrators, invite new users, remove users, and change user roles. They have complete control over posts, pages, uploaded files, comments, settings, themes, imports, other users – the whole shebang.

  Nothing is off-limits for Administrators, including deleting the entire site. This is why we recommend having only one administrator per blog.

  thank you galois but I have moved away and need to give someone else the ability to manage the site for the association.

  I did invite him from the all users page but don’t think he was logged into wordpress when he accepted the invitation. I believe that he clicked on the link in the email but live too far away to know exactly what he did.

  If you’re moving away and you’re not going to manage the site anymore, you could also consider transferring ownership to the new admin. That will also completely remove you as a user from the blog, if that’s what you actually want to achieve. Keep in mind that the only way you can again become a user of the site, should you do this, is if the new admin invites you again: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account

  I did as you said but I'm not sure if he was logged into word press when he accepted the invite.
  I'll ask him to try again to accept the invite.

  OK thanks. I’m getting him to try accepting again whilst logged in to wordpress to see if this works.
