How do I add a new custom domain name in addition to the current one for my site?

    I would like to add a new custom domain name to eventually replace my current one. Please advise me on how to proceed.

    To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, click “register a new domain name”, enter the domain name you want in the box and click the “go” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.

    When you want to switch that new domain name to be your main domain name. Go back to Store–> Domains and update the “primary” domain to be the one you have purchased.
