How do I add a new menu on top of About and Recent Post?
-
Dear forum expert,
I’ve just changed to a new theme with additional menu allowed.
However, I just can’t figure out how-to?
I’d like to add a little form or a contact menu whereby I can put in my contact information.
Hope someone can guide me how-to.
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can go to appearance/menu, create a new menu and add select the menu zone where you want to put it through “manage locations”.

If you only want links to “Home”, “About” and “Contact” in your top menu, you don’t create a custom menu. You just create a Contact page in Pages > Add New and add a contact form to it:

Once you publish the page, the link to it will automatically show in the top menu. -
hi Justpi,
Thanks a million. It works.
However, when I completed my form, my own name, email and website address appear there as well. Is this normal?

You’re welcome.
Yes it’s normal. The form detects and pre-fills the data of each logged-in WP user. If I visit your page, I’ll see my data, not yours. If a logged-out WP user or a non WP user visits your page, they’ll see empty fields.
