How do I add a new page to the menu?

  I have been told to go to “Appearance”, “Menu” I have also read that from the “Pages” page I can click the box and I will have the option to add that page to the menu. Neither of these are working for me. I don’t see anything in the left sidebar that says “Appearance” and when I am on the “Pages” page, I am not given the option to add to the menu.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks for the reply. I've read the article, watched the videos….

  I think the problem may be my web browser is not showing the page correctly because there is no menu option called “appearances” on my screen.

  The site I need help with is http://lamppostlearning.wordpress.com

  I don’t know why it’s referencing that empty blog every time I post a comment

  Are you in fact http://lamppostlearning.wordpress.com/ owner and logged in as Admin?

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.

  Exactly which username account registered http://lamppostlearning.wordpress.com/ is what you have to determine to login correctly and access the blog and navigate to the Page in question.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to http://lamppostlearning.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php to add Pages to the custom menu.

  Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
