How do I add a paypal (Pay Now) button?
-
The support issues here only show Donate buttons, but I need a Pay Now button. When I created the button on paypal, it only gave me the web code, not the email link like what is needed per wordpress instructions.
Can you please help explain or provide tips to how I can add a paypay Pay Now button to my blog?
Thanks so much!!!!

There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program: http://www.wordads.co/ There you will find the application page as well as FAQs.
Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.com

There is a way and I found it last night. You can see an example here: http://nighthawk-photo.com/plaque-contact-form/. Wen you create a button on paypal, at the end there is a code option and an email option. Just insert an image that you want to have the visitor click on and insert the email link code for the button or image press and it will go right to the page in paypal requesting money. It should work the same with all the other button options they offer like: shopping cart, add to cart, view cart.
I am totally glad that I figured it out. It is more manual coding, but it is better than opting in for a paid shopping cart option or changing to a different host.

Yep, the code works. Only because it is a URL that goes to paypal and is not the script code. I will be setting up a page later today to test it fully.

Here is the finished product for the paypal cart for use on wordpress.com blogs: http://nighthawk-photo.com/pictures-for-sale/.
